Business Relationship Manager, Accountancy Audit, Compliance, Learning & Development, Mostly Remote, 12 Month FTC

We are looking for a Business Relationship Manager / Audit Learning & Development Manager to join a Professional Services company located in Central London. The role will mainly be remote, with occasional visits to the London office. This position offers a 12-month FTC with the potential for a permanent role.

Operating within the Audit sector of the company, you will act as a bridge between Learning & Development and Audit functions, focusing more on the business aspects. While prior Audit experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Candidates with backgrounds in heavy regulatory fields such as Accountancy (Taxation, etc.), Banking & Finance, Legal / Law, Insurance, among others, will also be considered. Any background in Business Relationship Management will be valued, particularly if you excel in Stakeholder Management and are open to learning.

Key Requirements:

  • Seasoned Manager or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of Audit, including the regulatory landscape
  • Ability to establish and nurture solid relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skill in influencing stakeholders, fostering agreement, and spearheading strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Audit team
  • Proficiency in project management, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering results on time with high quality
  • Capacity for critical thinking, problem-solving, and devising viable business solutions
  • Effective teamwork, collaboration, coaching, development, and motivation of individuals to achieve their best
  • Outstanding analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of business strategies and objectives with a focus on efficient delivery
  • Emphasis on operational excellence, quality, and outcomes
