We're looking for a Porter to join our Front of House team based at The Princess Grace Hospital. This role is vital in providing a high quality Portering and Security service to our patients, visitors and consultants.

From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Other's may think this is just a role in our Front of House team, but to us, you'll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.

What you'll do:

  • Taking patients and visitors to their rooms
  • Transferring patients between hospital departments
  • Delivery of mail, equipment and materials
  • Hospital blood rounds
  • Collection and disposal of refuse (including clinical waste and sharps)
  • Assist in managing Medical Gas
  • Assisting the undertakers' team
  • Medicine and fluid delivery/ storage
  • Carry out security/fire patrols of all internal and external Hospital Buildings, and to ensure all incidents are recorded in the correct manner

What you'll bring:

  • Physically fit, able to lift heavy items when required
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Excellent communication and customer skills
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
