The Role
British Vogue is looking for a talented e-commerce focused web producer to join a rapidly growing team to work on its affiliate commerce content.
This person is a quick learner of software, very comfortable working from an editorial calendar, and can quickly build web content in a fast-paced environment.
The role will work with the British Vogue digital Vogue Shopping team to create product articles, product listing pages, translate the commerce and service related content from the print magazine to online features, and build commerce web exclusives, daily.
This role will also oversee the build of the shopping newsletter, (Vogue Shopping) as well as its reporting and keep the homepage up to date.
Applicants will be expected to be proficient and speedy in all aspects of photographic retouching and with image standard / quality control on multiple channels.
The Producer will sit with Vogue's editorial teams at Vogue House and report to Naomi Smart, British Vogue's Commerce Director.
What will you be doing?- Take inventory of products and update sold out items, sale prices, available colours, etc.- Work with the Vogue commerce team to identify commerce and affiliate link optimisation- Create products and build articles, and hubs for Oversee shopping merchandise edits- Oversee SEO updates and optimisations recommended by SEO managers Manage article syndication schedule and new opportunities from other markets- Work closely with editors, photo editors, and writers to gather creative assets for posts, vertical hub ages, social, and newsletters- Ideate plans for key commerce days/holidays and content tentpoles- Resize image assets- Support editorial team with photo research, sourcing, and credits.- Input SEO updates and optimizations recommended by SEO managers- Strategising ways to promote the Vogue shopping platform via social, events and video- Manage day to day commerce launch list and publishing schedules.
Who you are?- CMS proficient- Confidence with curating product edits- Understanding of SEO optimisation- Knowledge and familiarity of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our beautiful Adelphi office, with breathtaking views over the Thames, and next to the hustle and bustle of The Strand.
