The Role

Working as part of the Professional Services Team in the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences, you will provide administrative and professional support to ensure the smooth and effective running of degree programmes within the school. As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with the Clinical Director and our NHS partners, specifically focusing on clinical administration, for example, the co-ordination of placements within a healthcare setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can work alongside our diverse student body, academic staff, and NHS stakeholders. Your organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks will be essential in ensuring the delivery of degree programmes within the school. You will be able to work flexibly to support the broader team's objectives and initiatives.

This is a full-time position with an open-ended contract.

Key Accountabilities

To work as part of a team providing a comprehensive administrative service for the Learning and Teaching functions of the school Provide, check and update student and education-related data and documentation using University systems Co-ordinate and provide administrative support for designated committees, including meeting organisation, dissemination of documents and minute-taking Responsible for the completion of tasks that are unique to the discipline or programme for example, examinations and workshop coordination To work flexibly and develop a good working knowledge of relevant administrative systems To carry out other duties, as defined by line manager, which assist to the successful achievement of the School's vision and strategy
