Support Worker

Pro Locums 24 is a fast-paced Health & Social Care Agency, we are currently recruiting motivated support workers for permanent positions working with young adults with learning disabilities and mental health in Walsall and the surrounding area.

Join a team of skilled professionals in a warm and supportive atmosphere supporting young people them within an education workshop setting similar to a classroom setting, helping them to achieve goals, life skills and opportunities not always available to them.


Agency work is available for applicants who cannot commit to Monday to Friday.


This is a Monday to Friday position with no evenings, nights or weekends, the role is based around education and activities for young people diagnosed with autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

The contract is for 35 hours per week only working Monday through to Friday, 39 week contract due to term time only.

If you need more than 35 hours a week this role will not be right for you.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months ideally 2 years recent work experience as a support worker working with challenging behaviour of a physical nature
