Requirements and responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Strategy and

Initiative Leadership:
Lead the development, implementation, and management of the Intelligent Engineering Practice strategy and initiatives. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define the vision, goals, and roadmap for the practice, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Capability Buildout: Develop and enhance new capabilities within the Intelligent Engineering Practice using proprietary IP. Identify areas of opportunity for capability expansion, prioritize practice offerings, and oversee their development and maintenance.
  • Automation and

Process Improvement:
Drive automation initiatives and process improvement methodologies within the Intelligent Engineering Practice. Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

  • Community Building: Foster a strong community within the Intelligent Engineering Practice by organizing and leading communitybuilding events. Develop agendas encompassing case studies, training sessions, proof of concepts (PoCs), and other knowledgesharing activities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand their needs, gain buyin for practice initiatives, and manage expectations. Build strong relationships to ensure successful implementation of practice offerings.
  • Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in the field of intelligent engineering. Proactively identify new opportunities for innovation and leverage cuttingedge technologies to drive value for the organization.
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of Intelligent Engineering Practice initiatives. Regularly prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress, achievements, and return on investment (ROI) to senior management.
  • Strategize and execute engineering transformation initiatives of our customers.
  • Be able to conduct agile, DevOps maturity assessments, provide recommendations and implement the recommendations.
  • Leading agile methodology consulting to accelerate use of Agile process across our customer organization
  • Be able to drive a datadriven engineering culture
  • Provide thought leadership in areas of agile, DevOps through white papers, blogs
  • Identify & implement appropriate technologies & tools to solve clients' problems related to build, test, release, deploy and operate to improve overall engineering maturity for existing and new Ness customers
  • Drive pilot engagements and setup high performing teams to deliver value for customers
  • Engage clients in issue resolution/ decisions and drive alternatives with though leadership and automation experience
  • Identify and implement tools/ services that can help the engineering team to produce better software/ services more efficiently and provide recommendations
  • Provide technical and technology direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation of complex solutions by making automation related recommendations for existing and new customers.
  • Generate innovation and continuous improvement ideas for various projects and engagements
  • Work with delivery teams to identify and recommend improvement opportunities by leveraging process maturity model and assessment toolkit
  • Advise on existing project/engagement improvements, optimization, or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: continuous integration, continuous build, test automation, monitoring, automation, risk management, software lifecycle management and development methodologies, selfheal solutions, AI/ML enabled automation, Chatbots implementation.
  • Provide guidance on cloud native devops implementation and best practice.
What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in leading COE initiatives, preferably as a COE Leader or similar role within the field of automation and product engineering
  • Strong background in automation technologies, such as DevOps, Test Automation, Agile, and AIOps. Familiarity with tools and frameworks in these areas is highly desirable.
