This international division of a global group of companies, is seeking an experienced Sales Director to join their team.

As a member of the local Senior Leadership Team, you will collaborate with global peers, including the local General Manager, while providing coaching and mentoring to the sales team.


Responsibilities:
  • Explore and develop both new and existing business opportunities, working closely with current customers to understand their needs, desires, and potential as well as identifying new markets for growth.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the business's strategic Sales objectives and processes, engaging in sensitive and high-value business development activities.
  • Utilize existing team skills and capabilities, coaching and mentoring for driving growth.
  • Create a positive, engaging, and supportive culture, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment that encourages open and honest communication.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience at a similar level.
  • Experience in a similar business sector, particularly manufacturing engineering.
  • Proven track record of growing business into new markets with strong business development capabilities.
  • Ability to build strong integrated customer relationships, providing strategic sales planning to drive product sales.
  • Strong leadership skills, adept at coaching, mentoring, and empowering teams for positive growth.
  • Experience in transformation, both functionally and team-wise, would be advantageous.
