Customer Service Representative/Greeter

We are currently looking for individuals with great customer service skills to join our team in Battersea. If you enjoy helping others and have experience in customer service, this role might be perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the lines of applicants on site into half-hour time blocks, according to the time of their appointment.
- Separate those applicants with special appointments.
- Work outside greeting applicants/visitors for one hour daily.
- Maintain control over the lines and entry of the applicants into the Visa/Mission pavilion or waiting room.
- Distribute applications to the public, taking into consideration the nationality of the applicants.
- Ensure completion of all applications.
- Provide preferential service to applicants with mental or physical handicaps.
- Assist pavilion-visiting public as necessary.
- Ensure fair and professional treatment of the public.
- Respond to crowd control emergencies and alert Mission guards when needed.
- Adhere to security rules established by the Mission.
- Report any evidence of fraud.
- Take necessary action to improve service.
- Investigate customer complaints and advise management.
- Receive training in consular information service areas.
This role may involve occasional outdoor work to organize queues - appropriate uniform will be provided.
The ideal candidate should be able to stand for extended periods, as the role involves approaching applicants to direct and support them in the main embassy pavilion.
