This Behaviour Mentor position starts as soon as you are available and promises to be challenging but hugely rewarding.


Behaviour Mentors will work across various age groups within a sought-after SEN setting and working hours are 8:30-15:30 Monday to Friday, Term Time only.


What the role involves:

  • Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of a bespoke curriculum
  • Working in partnership with parents, teachers, and the school, to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make excellent progress
  • Helping pupils develop independent learning and life skills, manage their own task list, and prioritise their time
  • Become a positive role model and mentor to the learners you support
  • Attend outdoor education and Forest School sessions, and encourage community engagement

  • Establish a caring, inclusive environment with a focus on achievement
  • Be passionate about encouraging every child to reach their full potential and committed to ongoing professional learning.
