We are a highways infrastructure specialist construction company working throughout the UK, and we are looking for a Business Administrator to work in our regional office in Snaith.

The role is to provide bookkeeping and administrative support to the business.


The team here is dynamic, and working from different locations, so the ability to work autonomously is required, but you will need to be a strong team player to facilitate effective communications.

The following are some of the tasks that this role will cover:

  • Reconciliation of Debtors, Creditors, Bank Accounts, and expenses
  • Preparing documentation for HMRC e.g VAT Returns, CIS Returns, PAYE Returns
  • Inputting purchase and sales invoices to accounts system
  • Collate and input weekly payroll information for payment
  • Preparing weekly payments and receipts
  • Responsible for the management of training for all staff, to include keeping the training matrix up to date, booking mandatory HSEQ training for the workforce and management of our CITB account

Previous Experience:

  • Experience of using Sage 50 Accounts
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to reconcile accounts and have excellent attention to detail
  • Competent IT skills including excel
  • Ability to work well under pressure, schedule work appropriately to meet deadlines
  • Qualified to AAT level
  • Previous experience in a similar varied role
