If so, we are looking for a Transport Clerk to work day's, at our site in Eggborough, working on behalf of Celotex.


Pay, benefits and more:

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £13.20 per hr. You will be working Monday-Friday, 25 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • To operate the Weighbridge functions
  • Ensure all visitors to site have had their required inductions & training
  • Maintain the fire register & induction logs
  • To complete thorough debrief with drivers core & subcontraction


 Load bay planning
  • Controlling the loading bays, planning trailers onto bays and loads onto trailers.
  • Customer communications with Stakeholders, warehouse team & chemical control team


 Radio communications
  • Yard team / Customer


 Yard control
  • Safety rules being followed
  • To use all IT based systems in the effective delivery of their role including Excel, SAP, TrailerMaster, WinWeigh
  • To ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety requirements highlighting any concerns to line management
  • Conduct relevant QHSE activities: Care Cards, Bsafe, Safety Conversations etc
  • To identify and highlight to management any potential improvement opportunities
  • To demonstrate the Company Values in the undertaking of their role
  • To undertake any other reasonable task as required.
  • To always display the highest standards of customer service.
To undertake any relevant training events in line with own personal development needs and business requirements

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • Previous administration experience ideally within a logistics environment
  • A cando attitude
  • A strong user of Microsoft Office Suite
