A day in the life of a Conference and Events Porter:

This role requires a hands-on, motivated team player who will work side by side with the team, ensuring standards and service are delivered consistently within the Eastside Rooms event venue.


Key Responsibilities will be to:

  • Ensure conference and events rooms are set up to a high standard according to guest requirements before they arrive.
  • Support all aspects of the meetings and events operation to ensure targets are met and exceeded
  • Ensure you deliver exceptional service and hospitality throughout the business.
  • Ensure all tasks are complete throughout your shift, supporting other team members where necessary
  • Servicing of all meeting rooms during events and being ready to help to make sure the event runs smoothly on the day.
  • Support the CE Manager and Supervisor in both hosting and running of events in any tasks delegated to you ranging from weddings and awards dinners through to boardroom meetings and large scale conferences.
  • Ensure company policies are adhered to at all times.
