We now have an exciting opportunity for a Conference and Events Supervisor to join our C & E Department.


As a Food and Beverage Supervisor you will be required to
master the art of versatility and
inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties.


The main duties expected within the role are:

  • A warm, friendly 'cando' attitude is essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Previous experience in a similar role waiting and bar supervisory work during large conference and banqueting events is advantageous.
  • Supervising and coordinating the F&B operation in conferencing and banqueting, ensuring the highest standards of guest service are upheld.
  • Greeting and assisting guests in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.
  • Carry out & lead set up shifts for events to a high standard following the specifications of the client request.
  • Cashing up, record keeping and shift management duties.
  • Organising, briefing and preparing the F&B team prior to shift.
  • Assisting in cleaning duties and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Working closely with the Kitchen team and conference team to ensure the smooth running of the events.
  • Training and motivating the team to follow the Hotel's high service standards and promoting communication between all teams to ensure an excellent guest experience.
  • Support F&B management with any needs as required and assist with achieving financial targets.
  • Assist in keeping operating costs to a minimum by efficient and responsible use of resources.
  • Carry out & lead set up shifts for events to a high standard following the specifications of the client request.
  • Running daytime conferences and meetings, the supervisor will also be responsible for certain areas during weddings or dinners such as bars, supervising Front of House or Back of House operations.
  • Assisting in cleaning duties and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Setup, run and close down corporate events and bars.
