Food Production Assistant

Working within a fresh food production area, you will be involved in the preparation, processing, packing of our fresh meat products, including sausages, steaks, kebabs, etc.

Requirements of the role.

You will be required to carry out any or all of the following:

  • Weighing, Counting and Placing Ingredients
  • Marinating Raw Meat Products
  • Handling and Processing Raw Meat Products
  • Operating Food Processing Equipment
  • Cleaning / Preparing the production area
  • Recording details onto production records
  • Maintaining daily records of production processes
  • Manual Handling
  • Undertake stock checks
  • Pack food products ready for shipment

The successful Applicant will be:

  • Resourceful and adaptable
  • Willing to change tasks or departments as production requires
  • Able to communicate with all the other staff and able to understand the company's written records and documents
  • Able to work in a team or as an individual as well
  • Able to carry out the tasks that would be reasonably required
Training is provided.

Job Types:

Salary:
£11.00-£12.50 per hour
