Young People's Mental Health Support Worker

CAMHS Primary Care Networks Initially fixed term for 12 months

Based in Hull £21,500 per annum for 37 hours


Hull and East Yorkshire Mind is a charity that helps people with poor mental health live fulfilling and independent lives.

If you have the skills, experience and commitment to help people improve young people's mental health and wellbeing we'd love to welcome you to our team.


We are looking for a support worker to act as the first contact for young people, parents and carers accessing a Primary Care Setting with mental health concerns.


You will signpost to routes of support for young people such as counselling, groups and activities to build confidence and resilience.

Provide non-clinical advice, guidance and reassurance for parents and carers.


You should be experienced in delivering mental health services, with an excellent understanding of the lived experiences of those who access mental health services.

We are looking for someone who is confident, adaptable, and has a non-judgemental approach.
