About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient individual to join our team as a Mental Health Support Worker. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable teenagers in a unique and dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with complex mental health needs
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to deliver targeted interventions
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in a field such as Psychology, Criminology, or Social Work
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults or children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
