Abbott Toxicology, a leading provider of drug and alcohol testing solutions, are partnering with local, national, and multinational organisations across many industries to build and deliver customised end-to-end solutions. Those solutions range from providing rapid point of care drug tests to a full-service offering consisting of industry-specific medical assessments, health surveillance, health & wellbeing services, random- and for cause drug testing on site and in our laboratories, and many more.

We are now recruiting for a brand new Commercial Operations Analyst role in our Commercial Toxicology team. The role reports into the Commercial Director International and is based in our headquarters in Maidenhead (Berkshire).

What You'll Do

As a Commercial Operations Analyst you will help to establish, drive, track, and report on key commercial excellence metrics across the total International Toxicology organization (EMEA, APAC, Latin America, and Canada). This will ensure the achievement of sales goals and objectives in specified markets and geographical territories in support of the total International overall strategic plan.

As the Commercial Operations Analyst you will be responsible for all business intelligence reporting, enablement of robust sales forecasting across the various international regions, and providing critical business insights to support the delivery of the entire commercial strategy. A key priority of this role will be to understand the Toxicology business and go-to-market strategy in depth and support the multiple regional commercial teams in delivery of their sales and commercial goals, as well as leading on embedding Abbott's commercial excellence into the Toxicology Business. You may also be involved in developing and supporting monthly business reviews, pricing strategies, and other commercial and business excellence activities.

Profile

  • Educated to a degree level or relevant professional qualification, with a focus in data analytics or business administration (or related fields).
  • Prior work experience in a commercial or business excellence/analytics role.
  • Demonstrable business analytics capabilities to a high level
  • Experience working with or comparable CRM system
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products to support the preparation and delivery of business reviews (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI or comparable business analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Google Data Studio) would be preferable
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship skills
  • Sales forecasting, CRM utilization, and using KPIs/metrics to drive performance
