Joining The AA-X family as a UX Researcher, you'll be a key advocate for our users at AA-X and the interaction/experiences they have by working closely with the Design and Product teams to shape product experience and leverage expertise from the very first discovery conversations through to release and feedback.


As our UX Researcher, you will utilise design thinking methods to create the best possible solutions and use effective storytelling techniques to communicate with the rest of the business.


This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced UX professional who has experience with not only quantitative user data but also running generative and evaluative research focusing a user-centric product discovery mindset.


What will I be doing?:

  • Own and lead UX research for all AA-X projects whilst supporting the organisation in developing the strategic direction of AA-X through open and transparent communication
  • Scope, plan and execute qualitative and quantitative UX research throughout the product lifecycle, from early strategic direction through postrelease validation
  • Carry out research, balancing both business and user needs to influence and drive the user experience vision for AA-X
  • Support the Design and Product teams to identify and prioritise short and longterm research needs in line with quarterly goals
  • Work closely with the Product and Design teams to ensure research insights are incorporated into the product backlog
  • Develop relationships across the business to collate existing data and insights to inform product strategy and areas of opportunity
  • Share research expertise and knowledge with others and encourage the wider team to actively participate in UX Research, to improve organisational capability and challenge team thinking

What do I need?:

Capability, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative UX methodologies, particularly user testing and depthinterviews, as well as collating behavioural analytics data with qualitative insights to present a wellrounded view of the problems and opportunities they present
  • Strong background in running both generative and evaluative research and be in your element facilitating user centric product discovery
  • Delivering insights using Agile methods and working practice experience within a fastpaced environment
  • Synthesising and visualising complex insights experience driving alignment and decisionmaking during the endtoend research project lifecycle
  • Experience with taking part in workshops to move teams from insight to action
  • Knowledge and understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) teams to determine as to when and where to use user research and/or CRO methodologies
