Key Responsibilities:
  • Responding to customer inquiries efficiently across different channels with a focus on achieving first-contact resolution whenever possible.
  • Handling customer queries through telephone, email, and webchat.
  • Taking charge of issues and escalating them through the appropriate channels when needed for timely resolution.
  • Keeping accurate records of customer interactions in accordance with company policies.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Managing own caseload within specified SLAs.
  • Demonstrating active listening to comprehend and address customer needs effectively.
  • Assessing and making sound decisions on company expenditures related to third-party inspections and repair costs.
  • Reinforcing existing and new policies within the Customer Care Department.
  • Visiting brokers and dealers as requested by senior management.
  • Handling complaints received from customers, Financial Ombudsman Service, or other entities via various channels.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Prior experience in a Customer Service role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Energetic, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Customer-centric mindset and team player.
  • Effective prioritization and multitasking skills with an ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in Financial Services is a plus.
Additional Information:
  • Office hours: 9am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
  • 28 days holiday entitlement with 3 Bank Holidays.
  • Pension Scheme available.
