Competitive salary, depending on experience

37.5 Hours

Nuffield Health is the charity that's building a healthier nation, one day at a time.

From award-winning hospitals and leisure facilities to flagship community programmes - we'll do whatever it takes to look after the UK's wellbeing.

It starts with passion and commitment to quality. It starts with you.

That's why we are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Process Specialist

  • Pre-Operative Assessment and Outpatients who will define and own this area, ensuring that the patient pathways processes are efficient and up to date.

This role is crucial to Nuffield Health's Electronic Patient Record (NEPR) large-scale change programme, which is implementing the TrakCare EPR across all Nuffield Health hospitals.

As a Clinical Process Specialist, you'll have responsibility for all elements of the change journey associated with the implementation of TrakCare into our hospitals.

The Clinical Process Specialist will represent their functional area(s) and be responsible for defining and owning the end to end processes, working with the solution partner to review and validate the configuration and to support Nuffield Health's pathways and target ways of working.

Using your excellent leadership and clinical experience, specifically within Pre-Operative Assessment and Outpatients, you will:
Own the optimisation and ongoing development of both the OPD/Pre-op clinical pathways and their associated functionalities
Own any testing and clinical validation during system patches and upgrades.
Own the formulation of any required communications for any amended and/or new clinical functionality for your respective area
Assist our EPR support team as needed with any queries related to OPD and Pre-op
Assist the deployment team as needed pre, during and post LIVE site deployment
In conjunction with our training team, ensure that all learning materials are kept up to date for your respective areas
In conjunction with our testing team, ensure that all of the testing scripts are kept up to date for your respective areas
Work with the supplier to identify how technology can increase efficiencies in your respective pathways
Liaise with the central clinical team to identify any potential required updates to clinical pathways and/or processes
In conjunction with our reporting lead, maintain and update the required operational reports and audit tools
Work with the Clinical Safety Officer to identify any potential clinical safety concerns.

Due to the nature of the role Applicants DO NOT need to be experts in IT or EPRs but should demonstrate Nursing / relevant senior clinical experience in either the NHS or Independent sector along with energy, enthusiasm and an aptitude to learn, analyse and problem solve as well as the ability to support the vision of the NEPR Project.

Helping you feel good.

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. That's why we've developed a benefits package with you in mind. From free private healthcare to gym membership, a cycle to work scheme and more. At Nuffield Health, we take care of what's important to you.

It starts with you.
