About the role and our team
Join our team at the Ramsey Respite Centre as a Respite Support Worker


Our team provide a needs-led supportive service to children and young people with additional needs and their families, supporting young people to reach their full potential, having fun in a safe and happy environment and being part of their community.

This is primarily shift work (Morning, Afternoon and Sleep In).

You will be responsible for:

Providing a high standard of care for children and young people with a disability using the Ramsey Respite Centre

Assisting in the development and implementation of programmes that are based on the assessment of individual needs

Contributing towards the multidisciplinary reviews of children and young people referred to the Ramsey Respite Centre
-
Working with the children and young people and their family, colleagues and other professionals involved with the young person

Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post,
which Manx Care will cover the cost of for you.

Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.

A full valid driving licence is required for this role.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
