MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Responsible for supporting the current compliance procedures and systems: systematically recognises reports, analyses, evaluation, governance, H&S risks throughout the Directorate and develops close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


To provide timely support to CLCH Estates and Facilities senior staff on all issues relevant to statutory and mandatory compliance, governance, and H&S ensuring suitable policies and procedures are developed and ensure there are effective processes in place to meet all levels and areas of compliance e.g.

H&S at Work Act 1974, HTMs, HBNs and associated Regulations.


Co-ordinate with other departments, outside contractors, auditors, and inspectors to include the planning of inspections, receipt of findings and acting upon recommendations.

Be familiar with all relevant legislation and guidance relating to operation and maintenance of healthcare premises.

Input maintenance records into the CAFM system for evidence of compliance.


Work with Estates colleagues and extract all the maintenance records, floor plans, occupancy details and asset lists from multiple sources and then populate them all to Trust CAFM system.


Co-ordinate with Trust Estates Information Manager and third-party staff for receiving inspection records, identifying remedial works, and reporting outcome to Estates stakeholders.

Co-ordinate inspection activities and maintain contact with third party inspectors and contractors, where necessary.

Support senior Trust colleagues to analyse key performance indicators, and assessment of the Trusts performance e.g. PAM, ERIC, PLACE, Cleanliness, Food, HCAI, Health and Safety, CIP's, STP's etc.


Ensure Directorate data systems are kept up to date and effective for their purpose, ensuring good data management and storage systems are in place throughout the Directorate of Estates and Facilities.

Support Trust Estates Technical Compliance Manager for effective coordination and management of E&F steering groups.


To provide support information to assist with equipment replacement programmes, update asset lists, maintain and revise records for relevant Estates and Facilities services.

Providing and receiving routine information to a number of stakeholders both internal and external to the Trust.
