To contribute to the delivery of Diagnostic Cardiac Services across City HospitalSunderland as a cardiac physiologist providing a full range of cardiac investigations inaccordance with departmental, and national agreed standards. To work as a member of the physiology and multi-disciplinary teams, working at all timesin a safe and responsible manner providing a clinical service in performing andinterpreting clinical investigations without direct supervision, whilst providing a highstandard of patient care within developing and existing services. To continue to develop professional training and development, in all aspects ofCardiology carried out in the Diagnostic Cardiology Department and Cath Lab, to includeinvasive and non-invasive procedures.


There may be an oncall requirement to participate in the Cardiac Cath Lab oncall rota aswell as contributing in future to a 7/7 diagnostic service.
