Based within Citizens Advice, Hull & East Riding's Communication Team.
Working collaboratively with Citizens Advice Hull and East Riding Senior Management Team and Volunteer Coordinators, your remit will include supporting the development and creation of information, guidance, and signposting content, to ensure individuals are directed to appropriate advice services and volunteering opportunities.
As well as working with the wider team to shape and deliver the organisations communication strategy and engagement activities.You will need to demonstrate the importance of maintaining a consistent brand identity and support your colleagues to ensure quality communications across all products and initiatives.
You will be passionate about using communications to improve services, you will need a good understanding of working with diverse communities within Hull and East Riding.
You will have excellent, copywriting skills combined with content management and marketing campaign experience, or have transferable skills and be willing to develop these.
Social media content and campaign experience combined with website management is desirable.Experience of media relations activity including working with the team to build relationships with media outlets, assisting with writing press releases and responding to enquiries is also desirable.
You will have the ability to work both independently with minimum supervision, and as part of a team and to be confident using a wide range of IT systems.
