Senior PD Manager Accessories and Shoes
Hours: 40 per Week
Job Purpose:
You will have the main responsibility for the product development of footwear within the timings established, maintaining JW Anderson's quality standards.
You will follow each collection in order to achieve the main targets and objectives in terms of quality, lead time, margin and cost.
This role will report to the PD Senior Manager and work alongside one freelance design consultant.Responsible for the development of Pre and show collections across Menswear and Womenswear lines (6 collections).
Responsible for ensuring all samples are developed to targeted deadlines with the desired aesthetic.
Responsible for comments on prototypes, SMS, pre-production- and production samples.
Liaison with the Production Department, Studio, and Merchandising.
Accountable for tracking developments to ensure deliveries are on time.
Co-operation with the Production Department, building spec sheets for handovers.
Responsible to prepare collection overviews with InDesign.
Travelling to factories with design if needed.
Understanding quality standards, functionality (including consistency and standardisation) and end use.
Capability of working with multiple projects & cross functional teams; Solution orientated – problem solver, flexible and adaptable, resilient.
