About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Footwear Technologist to join our Technical team at Li & Fung. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a range of footwear products across mens, womens, and kids.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in footwear within the fashion industry, with a strong understanding of consumer product safety requirements and the ability to interpret relevant legislation to ensure compliance.

You will be working closely with our General Technical Manager and the HR Team to ensure the smooth operation of our Technical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of technical strategies to improve product quality and safety
  • Conduct risk assessments and testing to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and customers
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in footwear within the fashion industry
  • Strong knowledge of consumer product safety requirements and relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
