About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Garment Technologist to partner with our Footwear and Accessories department, as well as manage our Swimwear product.

The successful candidate will work closely with the design and buying departments to ensure the fit and quality of our products, as well as their technical capabilities from first sample through to delivery.

The Garment Technologist will be responsible for evaluating fit and attending weekly fit sessions throughout the department, from initial prototype to pre-production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all technical packs are updated and complete while keeping suppliers informed of our technical standards and procedures
  • Conducting monthly store visits and competitor research on the department to ensure commercial awareness of key trends and competitors in our space
  • Assisting the Senior Technologist on risk assessments as well as wearer trials to ensure product is fit for purpose and standards are consistent
  • Assisting the Technical team in driving the TFG sustainable strategy to ensure our sustainable certification paper trails are maintained and submitted to our Wholesale/Concession partners when required

About You

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of garment construction and basic pattern cutting, as well as the ability to participate in fit sessions with guidance from the Technical team.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
