What is the job role?

To proactively manage the recruitment needs for the business, building a strong employer brand and ensuring we provide a positive candidate experience. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective recruitment and onboarding of talented individuals to our team. You will work closely with the Internal Recruitment Consultant, hiring managers, and external recruitment agencies to attract, screen, and select candidates who are the best fit for our organisation. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for fostering positive candidate experience.

Requirements and what we are looking for

  • Draft compelling job postings and advertisements to attract qualified candidates. Utilise various platforms, including job boards, social media, and industry-specific channels, to promote open positions.
  • Review CV's, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit with company culture to determine suitability for open positions.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Communicate interview details, provide necessary materials, and ensure a seamless interview process for all parties involved.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process. Keep candidates informed of their application status, provide feedback, and address any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating paperwork, conducting orientations, and facilitating training sessions as needed. Ensure that new employees feel welcomed and supported as they transition into their roles.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities, candidate interactions, and hiring metrics. Generate reports and analytics to track recruitment KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • To work with all departments, particularly with projects that are being explored or implemented.
  • Undertake any other duties consistent with the purpose of this job or to support the needs of the business.
  • Recording annual appraisals and collating training / development plan requirements.
  • Assist the HR Manager with delivering the communications charter including following up annual appraisals, career development and training.
  • Sourcing, interviewing and evaluating candidates.
