Peripatetic Library and Information Advisor Sudbury
We're the independent charity running Suffolk's library service.


We make life better for thousands of Suffolk people by expanding knowledge, stimulating creativity and fostering a sense of community.

We're looking for a Peripatetic Library and Information Advisor.


This role will be attached to our Sudbury Library but will deploy to a contained number of libraries to fill a relief need.


You will be someone who:

  • Has an aspiration to deliver great customer service
  • Can demonstrate appropriate and effective communication skills with the aim of building positive and supportive relations with our customers, team and community
  • Can engage confidently with young people and is enthusiastic, keen and willing to deliver the programme of activities we offer including children's activities and crafts
  • Has the ability to work as an effective team member
  • Understands Suffolk Libraries services and what it delivers
  • Has the ability to be flexible to work across a specific geography within the county
This position is for an average of 28 hours per week.

The rate of pay for this position is £9.50 per hour.
