We are Eden Futures, a company dedicated to providing outstanding support services for individuals aged 18 and above with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and complex needs.

Currently, we are on the lookout for a skilled Trainer to join our dynamic Learning and Development Team. If you are someone who values personal growth and wants to contribute to a workplace that appreciates individual talents, then you might be the perfect fit for us.

The role entails a mix of responsibilities, including travel to various locations in the Central and North regions of the UK, along with some remote work and office-based tasks. You will be responsible for conducting face-to-face and virtual training sessions as part of our extensive training program for all staff members.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality training to all staff members.
  • Develop and deliver up-to-date course materials in alignment with company values and regulations.
  • Provide engaging and innovative teaching sessions.
  • Assist in executing the annual training plan.
  • Conduct mandatory training sessions for new and existing staff.

Training topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Induction core modules like Active Support, Safeguarding Adults, and Medication.
  • First Aid at Work.
  • Moving and Handling theory and practical sessions.
  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
  • Maybo Conflict Management modules.
  • Trauma-informed care.
  • Continuously update training materials with new legislation and best practices.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to deliver customized training.
  • Undertake CPD and relevant training courses.
  • Provide learning support to staff when needed, considering different learning needs.
  • Demonstrate company values and maintain professional standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior experience in training within an Adult Social Care environment (Essential).
  • Knowledge of Healthcare/Social Care subjects and industry developments (Essential).
  • Teaching/Training/Adult Social Care qualifications (Desirable).
  • Familiarity with Learning Management systems and e-learning platforms.
  • Proficiency in designing training materials and using tools like PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work across multiple locations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Own transportation and willingness to travel.
  • Passionate about delivering engaging training sessions.
  • Flexible, adaptive, and customer-focused.
