Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Training and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Menzies Distribution Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering professional and effective MHE training, ensuring that all training is aligned to the business goals and drives improved H&S for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver MHE training programs to ensure compliance with statutory and company policies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all MHE related issues and ensure that the depot complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with the internal fleet audit team and support operations to reduce areas of non-compliance.
  • Ensure that MHE compliance for site is achieved and maintained.
  • Liaise with external bodies such as independent insurers to ensure all inspections are completed on time.
  • Investigate and report on accidents and incidents related to MHE.
  • Develop and implement training plans to address business needs and improve H&S standards.
  • Provide ongoing H&S/MHE support and training for personnel at site.
  • Lead and support site MHE audits and inspections.
  • Ensure all new staff are properly assessed before becoming operational.
  • Monitor agreed performance levels of all MHE operators on site.
  • Promote an effective working environment and build strong relationships with the warehouse/transport and admin teams.
Requirements
  • Valid RTITB FLT Trainer Qualification is essential.
  • Able to deliver knowledge of MHE operation and instruction to all users.
  • Demonstrate people development skills and the ability to train, coach and develop people in a professional manner.
  • Deliver training through one-to-one and group training presentations.
  • Teach new skills/qualifications.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Accident/Incident investigation training.
  • Fire Marshall training.
  • Racking Inspector & Racking Repair trained.
