VACANCY:
Payroll Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • To utilise SAGE payroll for input and administration purposes.
  • Maintain and deliver multiple weekly and 4weekly payrolls within strict deadlines.
  • Pension administration support.
  • Holiday pay calculations.
  • Time & Attendance system administration.
  • Work closely with HR and Recruitment to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Be aware of duties performed by other team members to enable adequate cover during holiday/absence.
  • Any other associated administration duties to support the finance function.
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll.
  • Multi company experience an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of payrolls practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9am to 5pm, however, there is some flexibility in how your hours are achieved.
  • Office based 5 days a week, near Leith, Edinburgh
