Our client, a public sector body, seek an
Administration Officer on an interim basis of 3 months, with potential for extension.

This role is office based in Glasgow City Centre.

The role attracts an hourly rate of £11.25

Main duties:

  • Provision of casework and clerking support to the work of the organisation within Glasgow, ensuring the effective operation of the jurisdiction in which you are based, providing support across the 4 Tribunals on a rotational basis and where necessary.
  • Carrying out the case administration for the jurisdiction in which you are placed, including registration of cases and following through case management process within the set timescales.
  • Seeking and confirming availability of members and arranging hearings and venues.
  • Ensuring that case papers are issued to all parties and the panel members within the required timescales.
  • Facilitating hearings opening up tribunal rooms on arrival and liaising with venue organiser and dealing with any facilities issues. The organisation cover the whole of Scotland and travel throughout Scotland to hearings will be required.
  • Acting as a facilitator for "on the day" administrative aspects of the hearing process, helping make applicants, respondents and representatives at ease, answering general queries regarding the hearing process and venue.
  • Providing such advice as requested by the panel members with reference to casework procedures.
  • Collating monthly and quarterly statistics within the required timescales.
  • General administration as required including support for corporate functions such as event organisation and member training
  • Embracing multi functioning initiative across organisational jurisdictions.
  • Working closely with our Continuous Improvement Team to maximize efficiencies within the organisation.
This role requires a Standard Police Act Disclosure.
