Voice and Participation Lead for Me & My Mind, MHSTs - Mental Health Support Teams

Are you a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) who is passionate about the children and young people's participation in service design and development?

The voice of children and young people and their experiences of mental health in education and of accessing health services is important to us.

In this role you will work collaboratively with Me & My Mind, Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) Senior Mental Health Practitioners (SMHPs), Educational Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) and Children's Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) by leading on co-production and participation to ensure that the service delivers the three core functions of the MHST in a way that is informed by the service users. This will include using various means of engagement through workshops, steering groups, surveys, digital and social media to ensure children and young people are at the centre of the service.

You will hold a small caseload delivering 1-1 or group interventions using a low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach.

We are looking for candidates who:

Are passionate about creating opportunities for children and young people informing service development.

  • Has experience of planning and delivering youth voice activities
  • Can work creatively and be flexible to meet the needs of children and young people
  • Has good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a range of professionals in health and education
