Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software & Hardware Test Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software and hardware products. You will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that shape the future of communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test plans for both software and hardware products, ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities.
  • Design flexible test environments tailored to meet the specific requirements of each project.
  • Automate testing processes using appropriate scripting languages, user interfaces, and test rigs to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct rigorous testing on new and updated hardware and software, identifying and resolving any defects or issues.
  • Contribute to internal training programs, educating colleagues on new products and features.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in testing embedded systems, encompassing both software and hardware components.
  • Proficiency in Python (or similar languages) for scripting and developing graphical user interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, particularly Ubuntu.
  • Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
  • Experience with audio testing methodologies and standards.
  • Familiarity with Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions, including SIP and Dante protocols.
  • Basic understanding of electronics and circuit design.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • ISTQB certification (minimum basic level) is preferred.
