We are currently recruiting for a Probation Service Officer to join a brand-new facility, HMP Five Wells.

LOCATION:
NN8 2NG

HOURS:37 hours per week

DURATION:6 Months

PAY RATE:
£ £20.07 (Depending on experience)

Probation Service Officer Duties

  • Assisting in Offender management unit working alongside Probation Officers assisting with all work to include OASys reviews, referrals to approved premises and release forms.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Probation Service Officer or in a custody setting.
  • Experience of working and supporting a diverse range of people who have experienced a range of social/personal difficulties, including working with groups and individuals to motivate and change behaviour.
  • Experience of making effective referrals to and managing relationships between external agencies to enhance positive outcomes, manage risk and reduce reoffending.
  • An understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities and diversity good practice
