Job Summary
Looking for a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to cover a 12-month maternity leave, including Thursdays. Join the Whole Family Team (WFT) at a specialist CAMHS service in the London Borough of Camden. The team works with families facing complex difficulties, offering interventions for issues related to trauma and attachment. The role includes working at Robson House School with primary school children who have social, emotional, and mental health needs.
The post involves holding a complex caseload, undertaking clinical assessments, and providing evidence-based treatments using various therapeutic modalities.
Main Duties of the Job
- Manage a complex caseload, including risk management and clinical governance
- Conduct clinical assessments and provide skilled treatment
- Coordinate intake and referrals
- Offer consultation to external agencies
- Review cases with clinical care issues
- Investigate complaints and process Freedom of Information requests
- Complete standardized assessments with clients
- Develop specialized treatment plans
