Job Overview

This job is for a Band 8a, AAOT Senior Clinician 0.4 WTE post.

AAOT is a specialist multidisciplinary team working with 12–18-year-olds facing high-risk, acute, chronic, and complex difficulties. Their focus is on providing quick assessments, treatments, and referrals for young individuals in crisis situations. The team also offers long-term support for those with severe and enduring mental health issues, working closely with other professionals and agencies.

The post holder will work closely with the Adolescent Assessment Outreach Team Managers, sharing clinical leadership and supervision responsibilities. They will handle a small caseload, providing care and treatment.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Provide specialized treatments for referred clients.
  • Formulate treatment plans and provide interventions.
  • Offer mental health advice and consultation.
  • Manage a caseload of clients.
  • Work independently in assessments and treatments with MDT support.
