About the role


We are looking for a Compliance Coordinator with excellent organisation, an eye for detail and the ability to maintain their own workload to meet deadlines.


The Compliance Coordinator will report directly to the Compliance Officer and will provide administrative support as well as assisting with internal audits, document reviews, and the upkeep of quality management, information security management systems and Health and Safety controls.

There will also be a requirement to assist with other compliance aspects within the business.


This is a great opportunity to gain varied and interesting experience as part of a small but critical team in a business which is fast paced, entrepreneurial and growing rapidly.


What you will be doing

  • Providing support for all compliance elements applicable to Aspire which will include but not limited to:
  • Quality control
  • Information security
  • GDPR
  • Health and Safety
  • Environment
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with Aspire's service desk, Sales, Finance, Projects and other key stakeholders and teams across the Aspire network.
  • Working to agreed deadlines, prioritising and managing workload effectively, managing several open tasks and requests whilst following best practices.
  • Support continual improvement by identifying opportunities to do things better and more efficiently including adopting controls for identified risks.

You will suit the role if you have

  • Demonstrable knowledge or experience in regulatory standards, quality standards and management systems.
  • Previous experience working within a Compliance team.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to take action.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers at all levels, to diagnose issues and resolve issues.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills to manage and prioritise own tasks and issues in order to manage a diverse workload, exceed customer expectations and deliver results within agreed timescales.

Salary
£25k to £30k per annum (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements
You will be based at Aspire's Gateshead Head Office with travel as required.

We offer hybrid working where possible to support work-life balance.

Hours of Work
Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday - Friday
