As they continue to grow, they are seeking a motivated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance department.

Position Overview:
The role is full time with hybrid working available. There is parking on site and your own transport is advised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Ensure all invoices are appropriately authorised for payment.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and perform payment runs.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records in the purchase ledger.
  • Respond to queries from suppliers and internal departments regarding payments.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger role is highly desirable but not essential
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
