As they continue to grow, they are seeking a motivated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance department.
Position Overview:
The role is full time with hybrid working available. There is parking on site and your own transport is advised.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensure all invoices are appropriately authorised for payment.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and perform payment runs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the purchase ledger.
- Respond to queries from suppliers and internal departments regarding payments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger role is highly desirable but not essential
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
