They will be well organized, have excellent attention to detail, be proactive and can work independently or as part of a team.

This will be a varied role to support the administration department with adhoc tasks as and when required.


We are in the process of implementing the SIMPRO system which will require additional administration support inputting information onto the database.

Any experience using Simpro or any office CRM system would be an advantage.

The position will initially be for 3 months with the possibility of developing into a full-time role.

The role/responsibilities:

  • Maintenance create jobs, raise & issue subcontractor orders
  • Allocate purchase orders to jobs
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Cost site staff's timesheets and invoices
  • Answer, redirect calls
  • Create estimate numbers
  • Monitor admin in tray
  • General admin tasks as required
  • Filing of job folders
  • Maintaining good working relationships between departments

Skills/experience:

  • Competent knowledge of MS Office specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of working in a similar position
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Selfdisciplined, good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to multitask, and work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Salary:
From £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

  • Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
