About the role
- To provide comprehensive administrative and casework support to the Investigations team throughout the investigation and subsequent progression of the case in line with the rules, operational standards and performance measures.
- This is a critical role to ensure that the NMC meets its service standards and key performance indicators and is an opportunity to develop and enhance investigation skills.
There will also be the opportunity to be involved in and take responsibility for the improvement and development of investigation processes and procedures.
About You
- Ability to proactively plan, prioritise, multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work within defined regulations and follow established procedures.
- Well developed communication skills, both written and oral.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Proven administrative experience in a complex office environment.

regulate. First, we promote high education and professional standards for nurses and midwives across the UK, and nursing associates in England. Second, we maintain the register of professionals eligible to practise. Third, we investigate concerns about nurses, midwives and nursing associates - something that affects a tiny minority of professionals each year.
