Aon is seeking an experienced Global Investigator to join our industry-leading team. As part of our Global Protection Services group, you will deliver core investigative services to internal and external clients, helping to empower results through your expertise.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely with frequent travel opportunities. As a Global Investigator, you will work closely with internal departments, law enforcement, and other agencies to investigate instances of suspected criminal activity, employee concerns, data losses, and cyber activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct complex investigations across all divisions and business units, with a focus on internal investigations and risk mitigation.
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis, data mining, and presentation skills to provide insights into internal risks and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Mitigate threats to company assets, manage crises, and deliver threat assessment services through accurate and timely information dissemination.
  • Conduct interviews of employees and contractors for suspected policy violations.
  • Investigate possible violations of Aon's codes and policies, providing appropriate reports to management.
  • Develop relationships with domestic and international law enforcement and government counterparts, as well as private sector peers.
  • Assist with various duties related to the Corporate Protection Framework.
  • Develop protocols and practices to assess and mitigate threats to company assets.

Requirements:

  • Experience with investigations in a private sector/public sector environment, with deep investigative experience.
  • Prior experience conducting diverse investigations, including workplace violence, threat mitigation, financial crimes, corrupt practices, thefts, and insider threat.
  • Preferred ability to speak and write in Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Experience leading interviews, including non-confrontational interviewing techniques.
  • CCTV experience and proficiency using common business information systems.
  • Ability to work nights/weekends.
