We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Performance Football here at Yeovil College, this is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and knowledgeable candidate to develop outstanding provision that supports young people to progress to the next level in their football journey.

The successful applicant will hold a UEFA Coaching qualification, with a proven track record of success in the professional and elite game as a player/coach at the highest level. This role involves developing and managing relationships with professional clubs and elite organisations to support the growth of Performance Football at Yeovil College. The post holder will be focused on enhancing the physical, tactical, technical and psychological performance of all players with ambition to further their football career. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of the football industry and display innovative performance methodologies to develop future talent.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate the following:

  • 3-5 minimum years prior experience of playing and coaching in a professional football academy at the elite level.
  • UEFA B Coaching Qualification or Relevant coaching qualification.
  • Understanding of Long-Term Player Development (LTPD).
  • Passionate about sport and football.
  • A flexible approach to workload.
  • An understanding of equality, diversity and safeguarding.

Full time, 37 hours per week, all year round, however substantial part time will be considered for the right candidate.
