DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

  • Accurate calculation of quantities and prices where required
  • Direct liaison with both clients, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ability to interact and work closely alongside the wider preconstruction team to fully understand scheme requirements and info needed to inform price
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Create enquiry packages including detailed scope of works and attendances to meet the clients brief, issue and engage with supply chain and manage the prompt return of information
  • Assist to develop and evolve supply chain to serve the different market sectors
  • Maintain accurate records and electronic data
  • Have excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Assist project estimation lead to provide assistance as and when required
  • AD HOC duties as and when required

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Highly numerate with a some understanding of current construction rates
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a wider team
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings, schedules, room data sheets, NBS documents & BQ documents
