The Home
Longfield Care Home is situated in Eglington. Nursing home with maximum of 35 Service Users.

Categories of care:
- old age not falling within any other category, Physical disability other than sensory impairment, Physical disability other than sensory impairment - over 65 years.

The Role
Required to co-ordinate and organise all social and recreational activity.

To plan, implement and evaluate social activities across the home in order to improve mental and emotional well being and quality of life of residents.


Main Responsibilities:

Prepare, plan, and deliver recreational and occupational activities.

Ensure effective and timely record keeping.

Contribute to surveys, audit and clinical research projects assisting with collection, analysis, and presentation of data.

Observe and monitors the wellbeing of residents.

You will need:

to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a good standard of English

experience gained within an elderly care environment

to be able to creatively plan activities to meet the needs of service users

to liaise with external educational, vocational and leisure activity providers to expand the range of activities available
