Job Summary

Bell Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Care Support Assistant to join our team. As a Care Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support services to our residents, promoting their wellbeing and safeguarding them from harm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Care Services
    • Provide personalized support services to residents, ensuring their physical and mental needs are met.
    • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, undressing, bathing, and toileting.
    • Help residents with mobility difficulties or other physical disabilities, and assist with the use and care of aids and equipment.
  • Support Resident Wellbeing
    • Encourage residents to participate in activities and promote their independence, self-esteem, and sense of fulfillment.
    • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment
    • Ensure the resident's accommodation is always clean, tidy, and provides a safe environment in which to live.
    • Manage soiled laundry, ensuring it is transported safely to the laundry.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
    • Deliver a high level of customer service at all times, responding to resident needs and concerns in a professional and respectful manner.
    • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications
    • A good understanding of English, both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Desirable Skills and Qualifications
    • Experience working in a care or support role, preferably in a residential setting.
    • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, with the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
