Position:

We are in search of a dedicated Project Developer with 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy project development. This role presents an opportunity to take responsibility for projects from initial development stages to Notice to Proceed (NTP), contributing to our client's objective of expanding their renewable energy portfolio across the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on and lead utility scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS, and Green Hydrogen) in MISO, PJM, SPP, and ERCOT regions, from greenfield to NTP.
  • Manage project development, including permitting, land acquisition, and stakeholder engagement. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure regulatory compliance and project milestones are achieved.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and financial models accurately.
  • Negotiate stakeholder contracts and facilitate transition to construction phase.
  • Entrepreneurial ability to identify opportunities and evaluate associated risks.
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and new technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of MISO, PJM, SPP, and ERCOT renewable energy project development experience.
  • Proven success in full lifecycle project development taking projects from greenfield to NTP.
  • Strong cross-functional team management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
  • Proficiency with financial modelling and willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Proven analytical skills and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
  • Aptitude to make articulate presentations to internal and public audiences.
