About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ecosystem Manager to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and growth of our programming language across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Building:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with university faculties, student organizations, and other academic partners to integrate our programming language into curricula and extracurricular activities.
    • Organize and participate in events, such as hackathons, coding bootcamps, workshops, and meetups, to foster a sense of community and provide hands-on experience with the language.
    • Engage with the developer community across the UK and Europe to drive interest and adoption of the programming language.
  • Content Creation & Advocacy:
    • Develop and distribute high-quality content, including tutorials, blog posts, videos, and documentation, that educates and inspires developers and students to use our programming language.
    • Act as the voice of the developer and student communities within our company, providing feedback to the product and engineering teams to influence the language's development and feature set.
    • Present at conferences, university events, and industry meetups to advocate for our programming language and showcase its capabilities.
  • Strategic Collaboration:
    • Work closely with our headquarters and regional teams to align promotional activities with global strategies and adapt them to local needs.
    Requirements
    • Education: Comprehensive academic background in Computer Science or relevant subjects.
    • Experience: Experience in developer relations, community management, or advocacy roles.
    • Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of programming languages, software development practices, and computing technologies.
    • Knowledge: Good understanding of the UK and EU developer ecosystem.
    • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, well-organized, and a good team player.
    • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Travel: Ability to travel to Europe and worldwide.
    • Language: Mandarin speaking strongly preferred.
